£55 for 1 hour

An aromatherapy treatment is a holistic, sensory-focused therapeutic experience that combines the physiological benefits of professional bodywork with the psychological power of clinical-grade essential arts.

Far from a standard massage with a nice scent, a true professional aromatherapy session is a customized clinical treatment tailored to address your specific physical and emotional needs—whether that is down-regulating a stressed nervous system, managing chronic muscle tension, or boosting low energy levels.

The treatment begins before you even touch the table. I will conduct a thorough lifestyle and health intake to identify your goals and rule out any contraindications (such as skin sensitivities, allergies, or pregnancy).

This treatment is recommended once a week for 6 weeks and then once every one or two months to maintain results but can also be just a nice relaxing one-off treatment!

1. Deep Mental & Emotional Relief

  • Slashes Stress and Anxiety: Oils like lavender, bergamot, and chamomile have been shown to lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels.
  • Lifts Your Mood: Citrus oils like sweet orange, grapefruit, or lemon act as natural pick-me-ups, stimulating serotonin and dopamine production in the brain.
  • Combats Mental Fatigue: If you are dealing with brain fog or burnout, oils like peppermint and rosemary can sharpen focus and clear your head.

2. Physical & Physiological Perks

  • Enhanced Pain & Muscle Relief: While the massage therapist works out physical knots, oils like eucalyptus, ginger, or black pepper penetrate the tissue to increase circulation and reduce localized inflammation.
  • Better Sleep Quality: If you struggle with insomnia or restless nights, an evening aromatherapy session utilizing lavender or valerian oil prepares your nervous system for deep, restorative sleep.
  • Boosts Immune Health: Many essential oils possess natural antibacterial and antiviral properties. Combined with the lymphatic drainage of a massage, it helps your body flush out toxins and strengthens your immune defense.
  • Headache and Migraine Relief: Peppermint and lavender oils applied near the temples and neck during a massage are incredibly effective at relaxing the vascular muscles that cause tension headaches.
